This abstract pattern is created by using the ‘Itajime’ Shibori technique. Itajime, is a shaped-resist technique where the cloth is folded in various ways then placed between two pieces of wood, which are held in place with clamps. The folding causes parts of the fabric to resist the dye and create this striking motif. Tatie Lou product is made to order. Lead time is 4-6 weeks. Matching wallpaper is available.
