She Chose Science

Featuring delicate birds painted in multi-coloured squares on a white grid pattern, ‘She Chose Science’ takes inspiration from vintage graph paper. Through this art piece artist Sarah Thornton explores the juxtaposition between the rigidity of science and the freedoms of the natural world. Sarah’s artwork has been faithfully reproduced onto this unique wallpaper, revealing the nuances of her pencil markings and the imperfections of the fluid, watercolour squares.
