Hidden beneath the veneer of a traditional net curtain, ‘Body Lace’ fabric features an erotic design which can easily be missed at first glance. Amidst the blowsy flowers and subtle leaf motifs one can spy a series of couples engaged in erotic acts. When Artist Sarah Palmer found out that her great-great-grandfather had been a Nottingham lace designer she decided to incorporate her erotic pattern with a traditional lace design and ‘Body Lace’ was born.

How much does shipping cost?
Swatches always ship free, and express delivery is available at checkout for $20. Shipping on fabric starts at $75 for a single metre, some fabrics ship free once you reach a set quantity, and your final shipping cost is worked out at checkout. Fabric is printed to order, so timing varies by product and artist, but it typically ships in about three to four weeks.
Can I return fabric?
All sales are final. Fabric is printed to order for you, so it can't be returned. If your order arrives damaged, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and once we've reviewed and approved your claim we'll exchange it for the same fabric. Order a swatch first to check the colour, weight and hand.
How much fabric do I need?
Supply your upholsterer or seamstress with the fabric width as well as pattern repeat so that they can advise you on how many metres are required. If you're doing a DIY project, email us with measurements and we'll help you calculate the quantity needed.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
For larger quantities or contract projects, contact us for project pricing — and designers can apply for trade pricing across the full range.
How do I care for fabric?
Each order ships with fabric-specific care guidance; fire-rated and high-durability options are available for commercial and high-traffic use.
Can I request a custom design?
Often, yes — many designs can be recoloured, rescaled or printed on grounds like linen or velvet. Email info@jamescrossing.ca with your brief.
