What makes James Crossing wallpaper different from other designer wallpaper?
Every pattern is the work of a named independent UK or European artist, hand-selected by our founder — a diploma-trained interior decorator who specifies these materials on real projects. Many collections are exclusive to Canada, and each design is print to order rather than mass-produced, so what arrives on your wall is genuinely original artwork.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes. Samples are $5–$6.50 and always ship free, so you can see the colour, scale and finish in your own light before ordering a full roll. We always recommend sampling before you buy, because every roll is printed to order and all sales are final.
How much wallpaper do I need?
Our rolls come in a range of sizes but the majority are 52 cm by 10 m — see product details for roll sizing. You can use the wallpaper calculator on each product page to work out roll quantities from your wall dimensions, but the best method is to have a professional wallpaper installer measure your space and recommend quantities.
Do you supply wallpaper for hotels, restaurants or other commercial spaces?
Yes. Over 90% of our range can be printed on Type II Commercial Vinyl for contract and hospitality use. Visit our Commercial page or request specifications and we'll prepare a quote.
Can I change the colour or scale of a design?
Often, yes. Claire's designs can be customised in colour or scale, and can be printed on Type II Commercial Vinyl, outdoor fabric or commercial grade fabric. Email info@jamescrossing.ca with the pattern you love and we'll take the request to Claire.
